What do I need to do to make my pictures the correct size to post? When I try to post a picture I choose attach files, browse, pick a picture, then if I preview, should my picture show in my preview? I posted a few pictures way back, but can't seem to do it now. I guess my pics are too large, but what do I do to correct this issue? I feel so dumb  Any help, please.....

check your camera. See if it can take the picture using a lower pixel count.

The software that came with your camera, and any photo-editing software should have the option of resizing and reducing resolution. Both result in smaller file sizes.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/429.page is where the guidelines are. Basic rules are file size less than 1mb, and no more than 800 pixels either in width or height. Also, it should be jpg format to show up. If you get stuck, pm me and I will find an online site to resize them.

You can dowload free software from HP. Just google HP Photo Editor. There's an option that allows you to resize. Just choose resize and then choose Email. It will then convert it to 640 x 480. Then choose "save to" and save the converted file where you normally would. I save to My Pictures.
