Default Making use of donated pieces of fabric

I was given leftover pieces from other people's projects to make donation quilts. The small white pieces all had guitars and I knew I had to use them since my son loves to play the guitar and his birthday was coming. The pieces were only 8 inches wide. So I used them just as they were. The pictures show my son on his 70th birthday, along with his own son, receiving the lap robe that I made.
My niece is a long arm quilter and she made musical notes with the stitching.

The fact that your son is turning 70 and you're making him a quilt tells me you have decades of experience. No wonder the quilt is so lovely. Stay young quilting.

Such a great quilt story. You really worked those fabrics together in a nice pattern.
