    McKenna Ryan does very outdoorsy, masculine quilts. I think her stuff is gorgeous but way beyond me!

    Just get started with a center block size and then decided how deep you want the block to set back. This is a very easy pattern to do. Here is a baby quilt I did using attic windows.

    I love McKenna Ryan's patterns too. The newer ones have enough detail so I can enlarge them and machine applique using satin stitch. Finished the Sea Breeze working on Out & About. Fun!!!

    Welcome! I lived in Alaska when I was very young; my Dad built most of the roads there in the 50's and 60's. I remember everyone knitted sweaters with wildlife on them. The quilts are also beautiful and bring back fond memories!
