    Red face Maltese quilts

Several years ago when we went to Malta to visit my husbands family I wanted to buy some fabric with Maltese design. I was told they get their fabric imported and there was no specific design available so I purchased several teatowels from the local market. My sister got me in the habit of getting fabric from places we visit. I cut the teatowels up and just finished these two Malta quilts. I am pretty happy with them. Like to share.

What a good idea. I always buy a teaowel from places I go. I had started using them but I could begin to put together as a kitchen table cloth.
