Great quilt/bedspread/whatever you want to call it! A light weight spread is great for summers. I have one that is very old and strictly utilitarian but I love it. The colors are wild and not coordinated. They used whatever fabric scraps they had. It is about my favorite because I'm not afraid of using it. The fabrics are from the 30s & 40s.

Latrinka, this is a beautiful quilt, with the old fashioned look of genuine loving work that our grandmothers did, back in the day. It is neat, crisp looking, and so bright and cheery that anyone would be proud to say, "I made that myself", to give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy this pretty QUILT. Blessings ~~~~

It is a lovely quilt with beautiful, colorful fabrics. I have thought about making a Dresden Plate quilt, but haven't found the courage yet!

It is a lovely quilt. Most of us are more concerned about making and enjoying out textile treasures to worry about details like definitions.
