    So, I am guessing that the reason your quilt is "manly" is because you did it <g>
    there are just straight lines.
    the colors are STRONG.
    the pattern is simple.
    I have always figured if I didn't put any pink in it, I was doing REALLY good! LOL
    Nice work ... is the backing flannel, also?

    She's actually just started her first one. She does machine embroidery a lot, but she decided to try a quilt now. She's working on a picnic quilt for us.

    None of them are actually flannel, they're just woven cottons, although some of them (the striped ones) are a real heavy kind of cotton fabric, almost like a light weight denim.
