    Default Many Mini's

Here are a handful of 4.5" blocks that I've made recently.
I just decided within the past two weeks that I'm going to make a hundred twenty or more different 4.5" pieced and appliquéd blocks that depict some of my favorite things and life experiences.
I have an appliqué white and gray cat to represent my long time (former) quilting helper, a paper pieced walking shoe, an apple, a block that my late mother-in-law made, etc.
I will make blocks that represent July (birthday month) such as an American Flag and an ice cream cone. I may also appliqué a map of my state onto a block, and use some of my favorite traditional pieced blocks too.

What a novel idea. Sort of like a fabric charm bracelet.
