My DH asked me to tell him if "anyone really sees my posts". He was impressed with the number of people who were interested enough to say something about this quilt.
This quilt is based on the "Shadow Quilts" book concept. The author, whose name escapes me, had a number of excellent designs, with large and small versions of a standard pattern, some appearing to be overlapping, some more complex than this one of mine. My friend, who owned the book, just died at a ripe old age. I would recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of effect.

My 87 year old quilting friend wants to make a Maple Leaf quilt. We have been searching magazines for just the right pattern and I wasn't happy with anything we were finding. Finally I offered her your pattern and we have come up with a WINNER. We will be starting the project soon and will finish it in time for fall. I would like to give credit on my tag to the designer,(you), so what name should I use on the tag? Thank you so much for sharing your design.
