    Default Marbels turn into dinosaurs

This pattern is called "Marbles" and can be found in the Simply Fat Quarters Book by Sew Emma. I did end up changing the borders because I simply ran out of fabric. Little boys love dinosaurs, and I love the way this pattern highlights the focus fabric. Decided to back it with a flannel that I found at JoAnns, it also has tiny blue and green dinosaurs on it. I'll put it on the frame tomorrow and quilt it while the husband watches Nascar. It will go to Project Linus. The picture of the single block was bumped by our little dog...it really isn't bunched up like that!!

Such charming dino fabric and yes, that is a terrific pattern to show off the dinos. Good choice all around. A pattern well worth "stealing" or maybe just buy the book. Another win for Project Linus. Three cheers for you, LS.

Great pattern for that fabric. Wonderful way to use a focus fabric. Someone will be very happy looking at all those dinos.

Thanks so much for showing us this quilt. I have that book and need to make a CASA quilt or two. Your quilt is great inspiration!

Cute quilt for a little boy. Our grandson's 5 and 2 are big fans, but it would be a great fabric for anyone who doesn't want to cut up that precious fabric, or any type focus fabric. Thanks for the inspiration.
