Here is your fix, Marcia! :D

I have some different blacks for the "checkerboard" setting blocks so not exactly sure what fabric I will use for them. Also, I could use reds. I am leaning toward the black, though, if for no other reason than to be different.

Not sure when I am going to be getting to work on this as I am trying to finish up some of my WIPS right now.

This is the plan for the next cherry quilt. I haven't cut any fabric, so it's still a plan, but I think it's cute.

Thank you, Lisa!!! I am going to love this one too!!! I think I would like black for the checkerboard, too. Would really set off the red cherries. Hurry up and finish your WIPS so you can get started on this one. :D

    Hi, Lisa----

Do you have any blacks with tiny red cherries from the Mary Englebreit collection? Just a thought....

I love you new quilt plan!

    Your "yooper friend" :)

I agree the black will really set the red cherries off. Can't wait to see it finished.

    Thanks everyone!

Yes, "Yooper friend" :-) I do have some of that print and was planning on using it. (Great minds think alike!) I don't have a lot, though. I do also have some that is similar but larger in scale, so I was thinking of using the tiny one for the smaller squares and the larger one for the bigger squares. I don't know if I have enough, but am not too worried. I can always change the plan.

Lisa--what does your cherry fabric look like? I may have some to share....
