Margaret's Quilt
#1
Back in October when we were going through everything getting Grandpa and Margaret's house ready to go on the market I came across a partially completed quilt top. She had done all the units but not all of them were in the right spot and about a third were just stacked to one side. I decided to finish it for her for Christmas.
We took it to her at the nursing home yesterday. I held it up and asked her Does this look familiar. She said she recognised the pattern. I explained that I had found it and finished it for her. She brightened up and said Nobody ever did such a sweet thing for mer. I don't think she had any idea who I was but that's Ok. She liked it!
I was halfway afraid she might resent my taking her stuff and doing anything with it.
Will try to attach picture.

It did not matter if she could not recall the pattern or even didn't recognise you. You made an enormous tribute to her by finishing it. Thank you. looks like you did a terrific job filled with your whole heart and respect.
