    I finally finished this one. It's going to my son who is a Staff Sargeant in the USMC and is a Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC. I fussy cut the squares and used the alphabet on my Janome 6600 for the wording. He's in the Second Batallion whose colors are yellow and red. It will be on its way to a new home soon. Semper Fi.

    Drill instructor at Parris Island?! Oh my, now, that a job!

    He'll love his quilt; bet he makes the whole platoon do pushups for the number of blocks in it, LOL! :D
