3" hst.
And it was a real pain to try to figure out how everything would fit!
I didn't have a a pattern or anything for this, I just did what I wanted. I ended up having to resize it a little for the hst trim to fit on properly, and my seams on the hst are 1/8 inch. But that will be our secret, noone will know the trouble it caused by the time it's finished :)

Ok, here's another update. These stupid blocks are SUCH a pain in my butt! They don't quite fit the length, so I have to fudge them a bit, take in a couple of seams here and there, but then my points get cut off... At this point I've fussed way too much with this, and it's just going to stay like that. Now to do the other side...
