Just said a prayer for you and the "good" news after your surgery!! The quilt is gorgeous. Keep up the good work. Your sister is going to love, love, love the quilt and all that you put into it.

Mariner's Compass is one of my favorite blocks, combine that block with batiks as you have and I am just drooling. Yours is just breathtaking! I love the color scheme you chose for it and the sawtooth sashing really sets them off beautifully. Did you use Judy Matheison's technique for making them?

Also wishing you a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
