You are amazing ... working so hard on this beautiful quilt for your sister when you are preparing for surgery yourself. I hope your surgery and recovery go well and that you are back to quilting before you know it. Be well.

Thanks to everyone for all the prayer support & well wishes & thanks for all the compliments on the WIP!! Up to this point on my quilt I followed a pattern designed by Brenda Henning that was featured in the Fons & Porter's March-April 2007 magazine. Since her pattern was only for an 81" x 81" I had to make changes to the borders. They will be the same idea as Brenda's but I increased the size of the half-square triangle borders so that it will end up being a King size quilt 112" x 98". I used my EQ6 to help me play with the sizes of borders. I'll post a photo as soon as I get the borders on.

Beautiful quilt!
I LOVE your positive attitude! I'm a 2 year survivor, and I went into my journey with the same attitude - planning what I would do at the other end - and here I am making more quilts! Just where you'll be. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
