    Default mariner's compass

    I took a class about a year ago, but sewing the outer border on intimidated me and I never put the pieces together. A couple of weeks ago I decided what the heck, if I screw it up I can always toss it. I was surprised how easy it was to put the border on. I only have the one block so I plan to frame it and hang it in my sewing room.

    That's lovely. I particularly like the way the movement of the border fabric works with the pieced compass. Good job!
