    i was talking to Mariposa awhile ago, and she said to try it, so i did, there's a great tut onhere on how to make fabric from scraps (thanks to Dotty, i got a bunch fro m her).
    it was fun and frugal to make fabric, and it went very quickly, i just pieced the scraps tog, found myself looking on the floor for more colors too.i made my blocks 4 1/2" 4" complete, and used a 1" black sash.

    I really like that. I haven't tried crumb quilts yet but yours is outstanding.
