    And, your lovely market bag reminds me of all the coffee cups I received as gifts when I was teaching......

    The bag is so pretty and will be much appreciated (and best of all USED!) :lol:

    I use this market bag a lot - at least I've started to. Two of my friends made them for themselves and have been using them for months and I made some a bit ago with guitar playing buddha fabric and now they are in my craft room with the material & projects I take to sewing groups... they hold a ton!

    The pattern is easy. I cut out a bunch and work on the whole lot, sweatshop style lol. I used two different side/handle fabrics. I love my guitar buddha bags!

    That is such a nice thing for you to do. The general public does not realize how much of the teachers' own $$$$$$$$$$ are put back into their classrooms.
    Your work is very nice. I like the pattern and the fabric you chose.
