I would use them as blenders in a scrappy quilt OR pick a nice floral to use for the outer border and turn them into blocks. :)

Oh gosh, I would LOVE to have those fabrics to play with. The possibilities... Irish chain, Over & Under, rainbow log cabins, rainbow stars, bargello.

Hope you post pictures on what you finally do.

Sandy, Im sure whatever you choose to do will be beautiful. After all the material is beautiful and someone who loves you gave it to you. It's a win win all around.

oh how neat that your Brother bought these for you :) that is so sweet.

I have the same problem you do, I have fabric and don't know what to do with it.

I see there are many wonderful suggestions - I can't wait to see what you make.

yes there is alot of possibilities but I am one of them that is afraid to mess something up and it not turn out..I am fairly new at this. All I have ever done is applique sun bonnet sue for my grand daughter and a heart one for my oldest grand daughter and I did squares but nothing fancy..like some of the ones I see on here. But I do have a wonderful lady from this board joyce888 that is going to help me through the pattern pinwheel #8 got it off quiltblocks galore. As soon as i do the first step she told me to do then we will go from there I will post pictures if It comes out alright..I am hoping it does..thanks for all the suggestions they are greatly appreciated..I will continue to read whatever anyone suggest..
    Thank you all so much

Perfect for a "Column Quilt". Pattern available from Nancy's Notions. I watched her make this one day and just loved it. Please take a look at the pattern. It is like a reversible jacket. You make bothe sides at once and the colors reverse. It's really cool.
