    Here are the measurements I used. The strips were 2 1/2" x 6 1/2 "" the squares 6 1/2 " The border is 10 ". This all with 1/4 " seam. I used 35 solid and 35 strip squares. It covers my double bed from the head to foot with a slight overhang on the sides. I know it is a simple pattern and am sure you would all pretty much be able to figure it out for yurselves (smile) but thought I would add them just in case there was newbie looking at it. I am working on the back and will be splitting the main piece in half and putting a chocolate strip down the middle. Still not sure on binding. May use rest of chocolate or pull back around. Have to see what I have once the back is pieced. Thanks to all for the nice thoughts
