    Thanks all, for the compliments, this group gives a person confidence, for sure. up close it certainly isn't perfect but I think I'm getting the hang of this quilting. I even free-motioned some flames on the bottom part and wished after that I had done it in a contrasting thread . My grandson is 5 years old & we never see him without at least 2 hot wheels in each hand, he is so adorable. I was going to use flannel on the back & then last weekend I was in the fabric store & there it was, on sale, even!
