You have my vote! Out of all 15 entries, I thought you had the most beautiful quilt displayed. :thumbup

Thank You Mimee! Is the blue ribbon 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th place?
I've never been to a quilt show or had a quilt in one......yet!

Works for me and by the way, your quilt is so pretty, I bet your swish bargello would win for sure. My machine is very similar to yours and they are so light weight and not really for heavey duty sewing, but there are ways to work around that. I quilted my lone star on mine. Huggies, Fay
Thanks Fay for the info! I'll have to try that. By the way, it was my Swish Bargello that I entered in this contest originally. Swish is what made me a finalist! This is the first challenge round for the 15 finalists (from the 147 entries to begin with).

Your welcome. Just be sure to get the folded fabric under the presser foot just behind the needle so it will sit even wiht the thickness. It'll go right over the thickness and it ia a wide thickness, you should be fine. Good luck with it, Huggies, Fay

You know, I'm always reading about people having different sewing machines for different tasks while sewing. Now I know what they mean. I love my Singer for sewing 8 Point stars and anything that has those thicker bulkier seams. But...I also love the Brother for any of the other sewing. It works great on everything else I've sewed on it. Now, I will be required to own at least 2 or 3 or 4 sewing machines. I have 3 now. I also have a Coronado.

What else?? A sewing machine. I forget what kind. It's mentioned somewhere on the McCall's site in the info about the contest.

Oh yeah, and you get your quilt in one of their magazines.

Quilt is beautiful. You have my vote. Just finished it. Sorry about your other problems but you wouldn't know you had any by the looks of your quilt. Good luck.
