Just a though KLue, we should have regular "breaks" for folks to catch up, for holidays and whatnot. Maybe about every 6th week or so...what do you think? Will it slow us down too much?

i think its a brillant idea. it will allow me to stay ahead of the game too.

i'm going to try and work about 2 weeks ahead of everyone else that way i'll have experience with the blocks and have tips/guidelines to post.

i don't mind if we have to go 14 months or so because come thanksgiving/christmas everyone will be very busy and i'd be happy to see a block a week.

Amazing! It will be fun to watch this grow. Keep sharing! There's no way I'm ready to tackle blocks like these, but I'm going to enjoy watching what you all do with this project!

we're doing a small Jane Christmas Swap - you can find the thread on the Swap Board. you might want to do that since its only 18 blocks all the same design - much easier than doing an entire jane quilt.

Is the question "What's the name American Jane?" about a loaded question? Or maybe it's answered somewhere.... I only get to Pictures and Main... so it must be hiding elsewhere?

here's the link to the Jane Christmas Swap

i won't be putting up the Jane Sew Along thread until November - that way people can put fabric/books/software on their christmas list.

Awesome idea to use blue instead of black. It's going to be beautiful.
