If you didn't already buy a manual, I think I've got a PDF I can send you. I found one for free on the internet. Not sure if it's on this pc or my work one, but I'll check it out. If you want a copy, send me a PM with your email address.

    Edit:
There are free downloads on Singer's website if you want it right away. I can still send, but it must be on my work pc.

And the book mentioned above is great. Cover's maintenance and historical stuff. Interesting!
Thanks, I appreciate the link. I did downloaded the pdf but I still want a bound copy to keep with Nancy. I am thrilled with her. I first learned to sew on an old but wonderful treadle that I inherited. However my DH inadvertently sold her when I wasn't home. And that is something I will never let him forget. (ha..ha...)

Oh this sounds like exactly what I want. Thanks for the info.

Actually Nancy is named for one of my best friends (Nancy G) who has the same exact birth date. That way every time I sew with Nancy, I'll be reminded of her namesake, who was a loyal, and kind person.

    welcome to the featherweight club.
I know you will love it, as much as I do mine.
Where do you find the year it was born?
