    Default Memorial Mini quilt

I made this for my friend who lost his only son in December. It's ironic, because Kenny was my first boyfriend in the 6th grade, I lost my middle son 3 yrs ago in a similar accident. I thought this would be a good Father's Day present for Kenny.

What a wonderful memorial for a fine young man. I lost my first son, too, so I certainly can understand how you & your friend feel. Like Joe Biden said last week, not all losses are the same & the loss of a child is (to my way to thinking) the worst. I heard Paul Newman say once (re losing his son), it doesn't ever get easy... it just gets bearable & that has been my experience. Please know that you & your friend are in my heart & my thoughts.
