    Default Memories of Alaska Wallhanging
    I hand painted this cloth then added snipits for the trees. The Kingfisher is holding a salmon. My hands are outlined with French knots. The string I hand dyed and couched down around the border and added pretty shells from a purchased necklace. Machine quilted.     It's is gorgeous. I had a friend that lived in Alaska for four years & she loved every day of it.

    I've had the pleasure of going three times! One of the times was on a quilting cruise!!!

    Alaska Members- I will be cruising to Alaska and will have time in Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway, and Juneau - are there quilt shops near the dock used by the Cruise Ships?
