Memories of daddy...thanks to you it was possible
#31
Those are really beautiful. I also did the same thing but I used his my deceased husbands Levi pants to make them with. Also made myself a larger one for myself and I call it my cuddly pillow. Love seeing it on the bed everyday. My pillow has both our pictures on it and one of the two of us taken for our engagement. The children love them and when they come to my house they love going into my bedroom

What beautiful tributes to your dad, I've been in tears these past few days over my wonderful dad, I'm afraid if I made something such as these lovely memories I wouldn't be able to keep them out where I could see them.

What a MAGNIFICENT idea and what kindness to give these. My Dad is 96 and my Mom is 94 and are still in their own home and I'm going to do this with one of the pictures I have of them together. You are an inspiration!!!

I hope you can soon be able to have a smile instead of tears when you think of your wonderful dad...it doesn't happen overnight. You will always cry over a love one no longer with you, no matter how long its been. As time goes by, I find I can smile as much as cry.
You may need to share with someone your feelings...and cry all you want...in order to be able to smile.
Love to you and yours and let 2012 be a Happy New Year for you, for I'm sure you deserve it.
