My DFinL passed away at age 99.5 March 28th. I asked MDstepDs what they would like to remember their grampy. One wanted one of his blankets, but they were cut to fit a hospital bed so I decided to make her a quilt using his shirts, some sports fabric that I made a quilt for him with, and other assorted fabrics including a few scraps of a leftover outfit I made her of butterflies which Motyl means in Ukrainian. I used YBR aaagain  I purchased the outside border on sale. :-)

What a special gift. Sure to be treasured! The scrappy pattern to it is perfect, and the borders are nice as well.
