    Here's what we have so far... I am putting the blue cows in the corner blocks.

    Not bad considering what I had to work with!?

    Remembering your dilemma, I think you've come up with a great solution! And I like the colors you chose to go with it. Can't wait to see the 2nd quilt. Great job.
