    Default Memory Quilt is done

I've been working on this quilt since June.
It is made with 2" squares placed on fusible gridded interfacing. The light colored fabric on the front was purchased, the rest of the fabric are shirts from my client's late husband. The back was made with more shirts, except the center strip.

There is no pattern for this design, per se. I found the layout for the double hearts on Pinterest. I designed the rest of the front.

    Beautiful quilt.
Not familiar with fusible gridded interfacing. Are the squares then stitched to the interfacing, or just fused?

The interfacing has a 2" grid on it.
It is fusible which allows you to iron down the squares. Rhis quilt is queen sized and required ironing and pinning the squares due to the different fabric types used.

Nicely done. Your hearts look great and the diagonal lines give the quilt an architectural look.
