Default Memory Quilt for Geat Grandson

My Great Grandson was the 'Student of the Day' in his Kindergarten class. He stood in front of the class and all of his classmates drew pictures of him & he drew one of himself. The picture he drew is in the top left corner & bottom right corner of the quilt, had to do this in order to have an even # in the rows. I took the pictures & scanned them into my computer, printed them on treated muslin and made a Memory Quilt for him. I sent it to him for his birthdday which is today, he lives in Northern NY.

WOW. This is just great. A quilt that he will have for a lilfetime. I think this is one of the most special quilts that I have seen. Know that he will treasure it forever. You are a super GREAT Grandmother. Not only does he now have a very happy memory but he has something special that his Great Grandmother made just for him. PRICELESS. BrendaK

Well, I'm thinking that is way better than what happens to most Student of the Day drawings. What a wonderful idea!
