    Default Memory quilt redone

This past summer I had made 4 memory quilts for my husbands cousins whose parents both passed away from cancer. The one quilt ended up being long and narrow and at first I thought it was OK but the more I thought about it the more it bothered me. The quilt had made it all the way into the truck to be brought down to them and I just couldn't do it so I took it out and took it all apart with some help from my mother in law. I ended up redoing the whole quilt but was much happier with it.

You know they would have loved it, but we do feel better when we feel good about what we have made

Nice, like the black sashing, it lets the blocks "pop".

Wonderful memory quilt! You did a great job and I'm happy you redid it even if just to make yourself feel better about it. It's great and will be so loved! As will the other 3 you made!
