    God bless you!! That is what a real step-mom does. My Dad passed last May, I asked his "lady friend" (not even his wife) if I could have get some of Dad's beautiful western shirts so I could make quilts for my sister and I and the 3 grandchildren. (I had sewn some of them myself) She told me to get out of HER house and never come back. All his beautiful shirts were donated and she wouldn't even tell me where. I would have gladly bought them back. She broke our hearts. As I said, God bless you for your thoughtfulness.
