    Default Memory/t-shirt quilts

The Blue quilt is for my good friend Dale, 55 years young is losing his battle with cancer. I needed to get this made before he passed so he could put his hand in the pocket from one of his shirts I put on this quilt. That way his wife will be able to put her hand it when he is gone. Ths sideways quilt (sorry) is for his granddaughter (5). it has 2 pockets from his shirts, doing the same thing with the pockets. I also had all three do their hand prints and sign it. She sat on the couch with a hand in each pocket. I don't know how much she understands. But I sure hope this helps. I had to make them quick. Dale's wife took pic's for me and I am showing you those sorry not to clear.
Life is short, you never know when you are going to meet someone where is it is going to take you. God is going to take him soon. I know the angels will wrap him in their wing and take him to heaven. God bless, thx for looking.

So sorry your friend is losing a battle he has been fighting. How precious of you to make this special quilt for Dale, his wife and his granddaughter. God bless you.

I nearly cried, too. You truly are an angel here on earth... so thoughtful. God bless you!

With tears rolling down my face as I read your very touching story. How wonderful to put in pockets for him to touch and where his family can place their hands in the lingering touch to feel close to him. You are a wonderfully, special person!! God Bless you and them! His DGD will treasure this quilt all her life!

The pockets and hands will bring his family closer to him when his physical presence is gone from this world - you are very kind to make this sharing possible for them.

That is the sweetest idea and one I wish I had thought of recently. You are a special friend. They will love and hug this quilt forever.
