How far are you from Austin? I hope that Austin got some too. I have family there!

Where in PA are you? We sure haven't had any great amount of rain. It will shower for 10-15 mins and then quit.

Happy for you, we were lucky enough to get 1.5 inches yesterday. I did a super cool happy dance on my back porch. Texas could use several days of long slow soaking rain. You know its funny how we take pictures of the rain now. Before it would not have crossed our minds.
I have my pictures on my phone right now, lol.

Like someone said, we need it rain about 2 inches a day for at least a month...
Be careful what you wish for. We have had about 30 inches in the last 30 days, and it is not nice. There is no where for it to go anymore. The ground is saturated, and grass is spongy, rivers are full, ditches are full, sloughs are full, water seeping into basement and getting pumped out on ground to recyle back, crops are standing in water, and I have water I have to drive through, 4 inches, to get out of my garage to the road.

I am so happy that you did get rain, because I keep hearing how dry it is down south. Hope that you get a little more, but not too much.

Oh that looks so nice! We got a little yesterday but not enough to matter. Still had to do some watering today.

We were travelling from Austin to Houston around 6pm tonight and first the wind picked up then heavy rain - temp dropped from 104 to 74 in 20 mins! Saw several pretty rainbows too.
