Fabulous! A few years ago my quilt guild offered this class too but I didn't go and really regretted it once all the participants got up for 'show n tell' and showed the results from the class.
Are you making it for a wall hanging, or making more to enlarge it for a quilt?
thanks for sharing, I love photos
warm quilt hugs, sue

Tisha--I just found your thread. And I LOVE your Mexican Star. I find it very hard to believe that you have only been quilting for 18 months. You possess a real talent-this is not something I would have even thought of attempting when I began quilting!!
Gorgeous, my dear. Simply gorgeous. My birthday is in March

I made this pattern for a friend. I am not an expierenced quilter but I made it without much trouble. I liked it when finished and want to make another one. The pattern company also has a similar version on a placemat that is a flower I believe. I have seen it made up and it is beautiful. Also a member of our quilt guild did make this in a bed size quilt and it also was wonderful. It really looks difficult but the sewed down seams make it look like a very advanced pattern. I love looking at all the pics.
