    I don't know why that wouldn't work. It's essentially a braid quilt cut into 12.5 inch blocks. Jenny's method does create a lot of waste. I made a table runner with part of it and I still quite a lot left.

    I sent it to them for quilting. They included a nice note when they returned it.

    That's a great idea, I never thought of that!! I've made two quilts now from that pattern. Also made a couple table runners, adding strips until I got the length I wanted. That would save a lot of fabric and would be much quicker. The pattern results in blocks 12 1/2 inches long and mine were 13 inches wide that had to cut down to 12 1/2 to make the block square. By keep adding half hexes, I could cut the blocks square at 13". Going to give it a try on the next one. Everyone that has seen my quilts like that pattern.
