We have two, one for ea. of us. We use for hot or cold. Got my grown kids onto them as well. They are so handy!

Love the bowls. I have made several and people seems to enjoy being able use them in the microwave. I have added one more step (after making a few). Hope this makes sense.....I take a piece of paper and make a round circle to fit in the bottom of the bowl (use your judgement on size). Pin it in then sew around it, move out another 1/4 inch and sew another. This really gives the bowl some stability.

Just be careful with the batting, you need to use cotton only batting, do not use batting that is cotton, and polyester.
If they use the potholder to cook items, it could smoke, due to the poly. OR Do not heat more than 1 minute at a time.

    Your bowl turned out great!
My friend made me some for Christmas one year and I love them.
Isn't it amazing how different light changes the look of fabric!

Yes this makes sense. I saw some that had been sewn like that. I might try that.
