    These are very neat. I recently went to a local quilt show and saw these for the first time. Great idea!! Will have to look up the pattern.

    You did a really good job. I need to make more. As somebody said, they get washed a lot! I use 100% cotton without scrim (glue) and you can also use the batting for the tater bags. I use them all the time for both hot- in the micro- and cold foods and have never had any problems. I make larger/flatter ones for my flat soup bowls, and the regular ones for cereal or ice cream bowls. Your bowls will be really appreciated by their recipients. Both handy and pretty!
