Beautiful Singer 9W and cabinet!
Your machine should have an ID # plate on the back that starts with a W followed with numbers. If you have a W in front of the number, then you have a rare a machine. From what I have read off of some folks' photo blogs, not too many Singer 9W with the number plates starting with a W are around these days. Needlbar has only reported around 5 such machines(I have one, just not reported into Needlebar). Singer bought out Wheeler and Wilson, the remaining parts from the W&W were used in the Singer 9W. The only difference is the bed size, Singer wider and longer. The decals are Celtic Knot.
You can see my machine on my blog under September 2011 titled the 'Endless Knot".
These machines make a beautiful stitch! Have fun with your machine. And if you make a quilt with her, please post in "Quilts made using vintage machine". I would love to see your work!

I just have to tell you, the Singer treadle machine pictured here is almost the identical same type of sewing machine that I learned to sew on in 1945! It was my mother's. It is also the machine on which I sewed my finger! I was thrilled to see the pictures. Thanks for sharing.
