I am still in the scared to try it line. With my fibro, I can only sometimes follow simple plans. I can't imagine how my bargello would come out.

Love your wall hanging. I am petrified to try one but I do love the ones I see here.

I would agree with MarionQuilts. It is one of the easiest quilts I ever made, too. I made up my own design so I would not be confused by instructions. You can try a table runner. To start, sew a few strip together, say 4 or 6. Sew the first and last strip together so you have a tube. Keeping it as straight as possible, cut strips in widths, like: 3", 2.5", 2", 1.5", then back up: 2", 2.5" 3". Take your first one, the 3" one, and choose a seam and open it up and lay it out. Take the 2.5" tube and open it up at the next color down. Lay them side by side and you can see how it's going to work! You keep going and as long as you open the seam at the next color down, you will be ok. You can make your bargello curve go up and down wherever you want! So cool. You can make your own designs. Here's my first one:

I cannot say how much I enjoy making bargellos and how rewarding the finish is. There are so many varieties and no two have to look the same. It's only a method with endless possibilities. If you ever want to try one, please PM me and I can walk you through it. You will not be sorry!!!

Very nice. I have never done one. Sure like the colors on your quilt. Great job.

Lovely, but I thought you said it was a mini? Look pretty good sized to me from the picture. I thought most mini's were 15 inches or less. Maybe I was wrong ! !

Didn't anybody on this board tell you that making a Bargello can become addicting?? You did a nice job blending those bright colors.
