    What I did was gathered the fabric with thread over the lid and pulled tight before stuffing it thru the ring. Once I got it thru the ring I could losen the thread a make sure the batting wasn't in the way then I pulled the thread tight again and tied it and glued it. That's how I was able to get the puffy tops on mine.
    Duh, why didn't I think of that. Oh well sometimes my brain does not work. Thanks for the tip. I will use this my next two.
