    I love paper piecing--I'm about 3/4 of the way through a New York Beauty. Do you have your stitches shortened tight enough? If you get them small enough, the paper just about comes apart before you even want it it.

    Thank you. I always leave the paper on until the top is finished because that is what I was taught. I believe the reason is to add stability to the blocks and for more accurate joining of the blocks. Maybe someone with more knowledge and experience can tell us more.

    Wow! Beautiful! Do you have children or grandchildren? You could get them to help remove they paper...they may think it is fun!

    Thank you. It's not a kit. I designed it myself with my EQ6. And thanks for the tip about the tracing wheel. I've not heard that before.

    I've always wanted to try a NY Beauty but am intimidated by the curves. I used a short stitch length (1.5) and the paper is coming off pretty easy, it's just very small.
