Beautifuk quilt. I hope it gives your gf a small measure of comfort. Speaking from experience, I know that nothing can erase the pain of losing a child, but time and loved ones and good friends near, help to ease it just a bit.

What a blessing this will be for your good friend, it's so beautiful and your quilting is very nice. It looks so embraceable, I'm sure it will bring tears to her eyes, joy to her heart.
