    We never make mistakes in quilting....only creative adjustments.

    I see no mistakes ... haven't you heard, quilting with selvages is the new 'in' thing? I'm saving them for a friend of mine so your 'mistakes' are just modern piecing!

    As far as the pin, I love your resolution ... not sure I would have considered that which is a perfect solution.
