I am SOOOO pleased with this quilt, it is only the second one that I have made, and it went together so well, thank you Cathie for posting your version...it certainly inspired me :D

The colours are very faint, it is much brighter than it looks in the picture, the green border is a lime green, and the binding is a pretty baby pink!!

Thank you so much Cathy M, for sending me these beautiful fabrics to work with, as I said in an earlier topic, this is a christmas present for my Mum back in the U.K. :D :D

Loretta, thanks, I just wish I could get the colours right to show you, they are just soooo pretty and bright, they look washed out on the pictures :(

It's so very pretty. I know your Mum will LOVE IT. So, how was it doing a disappearing 9 patch? I haven't done one yet but would love to try one among so many others.

Jacque - Doing this pattern is a 'doddle' and great fun too, I do like the scrappy effect in this one, but just as much like the more uniform design you achieve with using only two colours etc. as Cathie, Johnette, and the others have made recently :D

Izy, I love it! The scrappy way you made it doesn't shout "disappearing 9 patch" like the one I made did. I know you said it is much brighter than it appears, but I'd like it even if it wasn't. You did a beautiful job for your Mum. Good goin'!
