I'm new to quilting, so don't take my suggestions very seriously, but I see just a white border with lavender binding. The quilt is so beautiful, I wouldn't want to take anything from it. Will follow this post to see what you decide to do.

Hi all I have finally decided on my borders. Thanks Bonni for your help I am using 4" inner borders 6" outer Borders and 4" in between Blocks finishing with a 12" borders all around the quilt with some applique hope the photo comes out ok. Can I mix Batik and other fabric in the Baltimore? The border I found while browsing the net is from a floral fabric.

That's one to be very proud of. My friend is making one very similar. She is making a border of tiny 1 inch squares, that have four squares in a row. It goes all the way around 4 sides. The colors she is using are colors she made the flowers from and it's lovely. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be very nice.
