Default Modern railway with a twist...

I found this pattern on Mad Quilters Disease blog. I loved her quilt that she did in red white and blue! (http://seldear.blogspot.com/2011/10/...-mod-rail.html)
I wanted something with a masculine feel since I was making it for my 23 year old son and thought her pattern would be perfect. He chose the fabrics, (The dark fabric is actually a deep chocolate brown) and has a black minky backing. I sent it to the law arm and I really like the grid quilting and so does he! (you can see the quilting best in the close up)
