Default Modified 1600

Several years ago when there was a craze where everyone making 1600 Quilts, our guild had a 1600 Retreat Day. I went that day and made one which I never cared for. Last summer I cut it up into slices at a 45 degree angle and added sashing. I just got it finished as a QoV and thought I would share!!

I love your idea, I too don't really care for those quilts. No matter what the color mix is.

Are they made entirely of strips? If so I think I do remember now.

I too never liked the 1600 a.k.a. Jelly Roll Race. This is a perfect solution to a boring 1600" of fabric!

What a neat idea. I also have a 1600 I don't care for and it's just sitting there. Everytime I see it I say that I have to do something with it. Hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK
