The first pic is my bento box blocks before cutting and reassembly. After much debate and pros and cons from you, dear QB members, I decided to jump in with both feet and go ahead with my original plan to cut, mix and re-sew. I did compromise somewhat by matching opposite corners, so it's not an entirely random look, a bit more controlled. It's still a wild one though! It's for my granddaughter's high school graduation gift, her older sister also thought she'd like the mixed up version.

Beautiful! I love the look of the mixed-up blocks. The Bento Box pattern has appealed to me since the first time I saw it and seeing this is really peaking my interest once again. Good job!

I like the mixed-up. I have made two of the Bento box. Neither was "mixed-up". I will try that next time... Interesting.

I really like the mixed up boxes you did. That is a new design to me. Would like to try it sometime.
